That sounds like and interesting idea. Smashing a zombies head in with a crowbar would be fun.
A good thing for L4D2 would be to incorporate the weapons from either HL2 or CS. I mean ALL the weapons from all the different countries military powers (CS). + the Gravity Gun and Crowbar.
It's not even like they won't keep updating l4d1. People say they won't have a reason to update it, but people will still be playing the first. It's not like l4d2 will make l4d1 obsolete.
For every copy they don't buy, I'll buy two.

I honestly don't care about L4D1 content. I'm fine with it as it is, and I'm awaiting L4D2. Maybe I should invite more people to this group...
I think people are complaining the most about how Valve said they'd dish out oodles of more content for Left 4 Dead originally, and now they're just creating a sequel. Either way, I really enjoyed Left 4 Dead and judging by what I hear, Left 4 Dead 2 will have a bunch new features and stuff
