Modern Warfare had a great original singleplayer but any potential improvements to multiplayer will be canned in Modern Warfare 2. No dedicated servers and no modding tools and no hardcore mode are 3 of the things that'll be missing in the PC version. Personally I don't care for the multiplayer of Modern Warfare but I figured you all might be interested in this concerning MW2. Here's the interview with Infinity Ward Community manager Rob Bowling. The podcast is about the marginalization of the PC platform and Rob enters the audio podcast (without a clue it seems) at 1 hour and 39 minutes into it. Apparently instead of dedicated servers for PC, IW net (peer to peer) will be used.

Obviously if this would allow PC's and consoles to play together on IW net that'd be interesting.
