Saving accounts
Since March 17, 2009
Valve Software, Steam Support or any other affiliates of Steam will *never* ask you for your account password. Do not provide your password to anyone.
This is just a simple group telling people about others trying to get a password off you. If they appear to be using blue text, they are simply using "/me" before their sentance.
Also, on youtube, you see these "steamsupport@hotmail.com" note the hotmail part.
1: STEAM WILL ONLY USE @STEAMPOWERED.COM
2: VALVE, STEAM, ect. WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PASSWORD, NEVERNEVERNEVER
Even if you hate random group invites, this is not random. Tell your friends, and save accounts.
Some common names:
Anything with: Admin, VAC, Steam Support, are fake people. Anyone with these in there name should be declined.
Never tell anyone your password...no one.
