Network Gaming Executives

Where?
• It will be held in Covelle Hall/Gymnasium on Friday 2-1-08. The event will start at 7:00pm to 10:30pm.
Time is limited and we will not accept reservations. This is a first come first serve event.
• The admissions fee for contestants is $3.00.
• Food and drink will be available to participants of the Network Gaming Executives event only and only while supply lasts.
•Registration will end at 8:00pm.

How to play.
• The song that will be played will be decided before the round.
• There will be a rotation and each participant has one attempt.
• You must be able to play on your own and no one can represent you.
• To make another attempt, there will be another admission charge of 3 dollars.
The round must also qualify for another attempt. If there are no more contestants to compete with and the rules
for that round state that another attempt cannot be made, then you will be unable to make another attempt.

How a winner is determined.
• It is based off of the composite score on the predetermined song per round.
• There will be three rounds (First, Second, Third, Final)
The First round will start at 7:20pm
1. It will consist of one song for all participants.
2. The song will be selected by the judge.
3. It will be set to medium difficulty.
4. The scores will be used to determine the playing order.
5. Multiple attempts can not be made on this round.

The Second round
1. It will consist of one song
2. The song will be selected by the judge.
3. It will be set to hard difficulty.
4. The contestant with the higher score of the two proceeds to the next round.
5. Multiple attempts can be made on this round.

The Third round
1. It will consist of two song
2. The song will be selected by the judge.
3. It will be set to hard difficulty.
4. The contestant with the higher composite score of the two proceeds to the next round.
5. Multiple attempts can be made on this round.

The fourth and final round
1. It will consist of three song
2. The song will be selected by the judge.
3. It will be set to hard difficulty.
4. The contestant with the higher composite score determines their standing in the competition.
5. Multiple attempts can not be made on this round.

If there is a tie, there will be another attempt made. The person with the highest score will be assigned first place and so on.
If this leads into another consecutive tie, the next attempt will use no monitor. This will continue until a high and low score is achieved.
In case of a tie, the contestants must be present to dispute the tie. If a contestant is not present to dispute the tie, they forfeit their position and the present contestant wins the contested position by default.

Prizes
There will be prizes in the form of gift cards. This is decided by the officers before the event. The total amount awarded will be scaled according to the amount of people participating in the event. The minimum amount that will be available in a gift card will be 15$.
