ABOUT [MYST] Game Traitors Union

Mystic Spiral

Mystic Spiral [MYST] was founded in May 2006 in Guild Wars by Quatra and Tasha, who aimed to make a social guild that went beyond avatars to form lasting friendships between players. Since then we’ve grown in size, diversity and scope, enjoying playing a variety of games from different genres together. Our aims are captured in the guild’s motto – make friends, have fun and get the job done.

Having fun in games with a group of friends is the pinnacle of gaming for us, but that doesn’t mean we’re willing to sacrifice success. While you won’t find many of us gaming to the detriment of family and other commitments, we fully intend to make the most of any time we spend gaming. To that end we encourage everyone to make their mark on the community by offering feedback to the leadership, organising events, training others, writing guides and more besides – being helpful is never wrong. This also means we’re focussed on the quality of our members rather than the quantity and are currently have around 55 active members.

While we’re constantly trying out new games and reliving old ones (we love Steam sales), there are some games we’re drawn to more than others. If a game becomes popular amongst a significant proportion of our membership, it becomes a featured game.
