I know there's been a nasty rumour circulating that I'm going to shut down the server.

It's all true, I'm afraid.

Sorry it's been out for so long... It's going to happen from time to time. Here's hoping it's a while til the next one :)

The server seems to be a bit dead right now... unfortunately, I'm out of town. I'll fix it when I get home tomorrow night, unless I can talk someone into rebooting everything tonight - don't hold your breath...

I've moved the server onto a dedicated box and reclaimed my desktop, finally.

The hardware is not spectacular (Athalon 2400+) but it seems to be doing the job ok.. :)

Fresh from steam.. here's hoping it all works :)

I had a request for some extra vehicles. Afetr searching fruitlessly thru broke old mods, I found this:

I've been playing with resource.Addfile.
Huh? You may ask.. The server will now download textures/models of my choosing when clients connect. More compatability between your client and my server is the idea :)

I’ve got a patch all ready to go out to fix any problems yesterday’s patch caused. If you want an immediate fix open up the garrysmod folder and delete the cache/lua.cache file.
...

Seems Cactus was able to play successfully on the server after clearing the garrysmod cache folder before connecting... might be worth trying that before you commit to a fresh install.
