Strange Parts/paint (henceforth "mods") have always added perceived value to an item, albeit less, when applied. That's why years ago, somewhat arbitrarily a 50% multiplier was conceived. This rarely, if ever, reflected the actual market. More commonly, applied mods go for somewhere around 10-25%, depending on the buyer's perception of its value. For example, a Damage Dealt part on a Bonesaw is nowhere near as valuable as one on a Rocket Launcher. In this extreme example, the expensive part on the Bonesaw is likely to go for even less.

Today, we decided (based on community feedback), to change the multipliers for applied Strange Parts and paint to 10% and 20% respectively. You are likely to see a drop in "backpack value", however, worry not. This merely reflects your actual backpack value better than what it did before. It is simply very hard if not impossible to sell applied mods for 50% of the original item's value.

Additionally, mods will no longer add value to Unusuals. Almost no one gives more for an Unusual with a specific paint applied. If anything, it makes it slightly easier to sell (depending on the buyer's desires), but that should not be reflected in our suggested price.

• Wear graphs on stats pages are now only shown if the item in question can have a wear.
  
• Removed all prices for non-tradable items (Valve made it impossible to gift wrap non-tradable items and instead made some items like the Treasure Hat always tradable, so these no longer have any value)
