Map Test Lab (MTL)
We are a group of people that enjoy helping test community made maps.
Since October 18, 2009
The goal of MTL is to create a place where mappers and players can connect with each other to create periodic, or on demand map testing events for some of the most promising maps in development out there.
Unlike a lot of other groups, MTL is not associated with any one clan, community, or server. We are simply here to help organize and get players into map testing events. Anyone who is interested in taking part in future map test events is encouraged to join the group so they can be informed of up coming events.
At the moment our main focus is on testing maps for games such as Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2. However, any source based game or even mod can be accepted for testing as well, given we have enough interest.
If you would like to get your own map announced for some testing events, simply join the group and then submit your map to isaiah@n00bicidal.com. If we deem your map acceptable, we will make you an officer in the group, where you can schedule map test events whenever you like.

I'll be listing the servers under the group information summary page. A group dedicated website, forums, or server is somewhat outside the scope of my goals here, at least for now anyway. The aim is to make this simply a universal meeting place for any and all people willing to help play test maps, regardless of the server or group. I don't want to create any kind of single core community just for the group itself, because I feel this would limit the group way too much from what I'm trying to make it.

As soon as we get some events setup you'll be able to find out exactly whats being tested and when. However, one map that I do know we will be testing very soon is cp_quantum (formerly cp_longhaul) http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=9936&highlight=longhaul. I'm also working on a new version of cp_spire, but it will probably be a while before that ones out.
