MAINGEAR admins are strongly encouraged to play on servers in order to ensure a smooth, lag-free environment as well as monitor it for cheaters and other abusers alike. Maingear community is where you can engage in team work with tactics and strategies with other members of the community.
In addition to our community we issue Steam event notifications with details on events or updates as well as on our website to win prizes or even a computer! Taking part in events means you will be part of a system of gamers who all enjoy having a good time and winning prizes!
Feel free to enjoy the style of play and chat with other members in a fun filled environment. Everyone is mature and listens to the rules to enjoy this community.
We are primarily located in the United States, but have members from several other parts of the world, and at any given time we usually have several people online and in games.
There is currently one source game server listed below. Although our Steam Community’s principal focus is Counter-Strike: Source, several members play a variety of games such as Aion, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Team Fotress 2, Call of Duty 5, World of Warcraft and more!

Now that the company wants to make a switch from competition to community. We feel the best way to give back is offer free hardware and computers to the members of the community.
