ABOUT LOTRO Academy

LOTRO Academy is a free, weekly audio podcast focused on getting the new player up to speed in Lord of the Rings Online™. Each episode will feature an in-depth look at a particular element of the game, starting with the basics, but moving onto more intermediate and advanced topics as we continue our adventures in Middle-earth. Each episode will be archived for easy reference and no matter how advanced the topics become, we’ll always stay up to date with the new player experience. Our goal is to learn as much about LOTRO ourselves as we can, and to share what we learn with our listeners.

The Lord of the Rings Online™ can be a little overwhelming or confusing at first, especially in regards to the Free to Play model adopted in September of 2010. So Branick, Mysteri, Rolfkrage, and Pineleaf are here to answer your account-related questions in what we hope will be the first of an annual series of New Player guides. I've got a bunch of your episodes on my media player and I listen to them at work. Really enjoy the skirmish episodes and hearing about you guys' experience in LOTRO. Not only that, but each of you have personality. Thanks for putting in the effort required to make this thing happen!

Hello I am somewhat new to Lotro but not to the series in itself. If anyone is looking for some one to play with on lotro around level 15 send me a message looking forward to being in a group dedicated to lotro!
