So the author of stripper source, BAILOPAN, has released a L4D2 supported version of his modification. This means that, shortly after L4D2 has been released, I should be able to spend some time on config maps for ProMap2, if the game does require it.

I'll post an announcement when I get the thread started on the Steam forum.
