L4D Demo Pre-load
If you ordered Left 4 Dead via Steam, you can start pre-loading the demo now! Just restart Steam, go to My Games, and you'll see Left 4 Dead Demo right below Left 4 Dead.
If you pre-ordered from Gamestop/EBGames, and got a code over e-mail, just click on games at the top of the Steam Window, press 'Activate a product on Steam,' enter your code, and you're set!
