This group is for those people who loved the first versions of Left 4 Dead, dated around 2007, where the game was totally different from the final release.

We are modding the game to give that feeling. Adding new survivor models, weapons sounds/animations, infected re-skins, redesigned maps, muzzle flash lighting, new particles and much more...

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to say that we are achieving some really cool stuff, thanks to sourcemod community now we have muzzle flash lighting for weapons and full reload animations! (thanks to Timocop)

Now we are even closer to beta style gameplay, we just need to make the beta survivor models and tweak some maps.

And i must say that Chriswin7 and Disa are making this possible, they are awesome.

Hopefully we can have all completed by june-july.

Can someone convert my Beta Hunter model ?

Yep , I need someone to add the weightmap to the model , then convert it to a .mdl so it can be used in game .

ONLY if you can , add me please .

...I also need some help about Beta Francis , if someone can ONLY make the hairs and the beard ...

I really hope you get the support you need in doing this. I love to play the game that was before valve screwed it up.

Just for left 2 XD Beta-Style Louis : http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=23475 but not completely fixed , it does not move the lips when he speaks, hud prob and prob hand but nice job ^^
