Kingston's an up-and-coming RP community.



I don't like calling it that, because "RP community" has garnered something of a negative connotation as the fun of it evaporates. Serious, story-oriented roleplay has lost its way amongst the various servers that exist little more as sandboxes for their administrators to play in. Community neglect is all too common now, with playerbases getting very little say in how things work. Many such servers take this to extremes, specifying that players are not to disagree with admins else they will face a ban.

When I say Kingston is an upcoming RP community, I mean it. A community, for roleplay. Serious, player-driven roleplay emphasizing character development and story weaving. It's not a virtual gun collection. It's not some kind of e-peen pill. It's a collaboration between equals to create an enjoyable experience.

Kingston is designed to give everyone a fair say. We operate on a direct democracy basis, and so your voice is important. You are Kingston's top priority. Your concerns are our concerns, so never be afraid to speak your mind.
