History:

Kabal was originally established as a Guild Wars guild in 2007. Since then Kabal has spread across multiple games and become a more general gaming community with a focus on Guild Wars 2. Kabal has had members and chapters in games ranging from MMOs like Runes of Magic, Lord of the Rings Online, DC Universe Online, SWTOR, Rift and the original Guild Wars to competitive/cooperative games such as Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, Dungeon Defenders, League of Legends, DOTA2, and Minecraft.

Mission Statement:

Our main focus is to promote friendship, fellowship and synergy between members and the guild, rather than the pursuit of progression and loot.

Kabal 2013 Year in Preview

Hi all!

With the guild’s successful transition into Guild Wars 2 moving into it’s sixth month, it’s time that we look into the next year and what things may come for us all in the coming months ahead.

We’re all very happy with how the guild has grown and we wish to thank our members for making Kabal what it is and hope that we will continue to have many adventures together as we move into 2013!

With that out of the way let us peer into the crystal ball as we see into the far future and look at what horrors we will wrought!

Event Calendar Changes!
Please remember to sign up for events even if you will not be attending. There are 3 options (Yes, Maybe, No) and signing up allows us to gauge interest.

Random Explorable Dungeons will now become Explorable Dungeon Events.

To do this we are setting up the various dungeons in the game on a spectrum list as below:

Week 1: Ascalon Catacombs - Arah
Week 2: Caudecus Manor - Crucible of Eternity
Week 3: Twilight Arbor - Honor of the Waves
Week 4: Sorrow’s Embrace - Citadel of Flames

Saturday Night Sacrifice (WvWvW) will become more organized on our part.

Friday Evenings will be dedicated to Fractals!

Sunday Serg/Karma Event Changes

Sunday Game Night 7PM CST! Though it is our prime focus, Kabal doesn’t just play GW2. To help our members who like to play games beyond the land of Tyria, Sunday night events will feature other fun games. The first Sunday of every month we will play a preselected game; the calendar will detail the event and it will cost you nothing to participate (starting January 6th with Minecraft Classic). The following Sundays in the month will be DOTA 2 nights; the game having a fairly large following within our guild. If you have suggestions for other games that we should consider, please contact us and we’ll add them to the list.
