how does one upgrade toi ver 4.10 or ver 4.11.1 via Steam
They sure do! There is a thriving community still supporting IL2 1946. Probably the easiest way to find servers is with x-fire or hyperlobby. Just google them and you should find what you need. Also check out Mission 4 Today for lots of resources, skins, missions and chat.

Yes I believe so. At the bottom left, click the add a game. and then Add a non-steam game. I have not tried it so I don't know what to do from there.
is it posible to put il2 from disk to steam with out having to buy it or going through the disk set up im my laptop crashes
