Heads on Sticks

I thought I'd make a public post so people can finally put the banter and rumours to rest.

Heads on Sticks launched the day the TF2 beta was released. We picked up some awesome players and awesome people along the way - people who had once been involved with TF legends such as FtB, PnP, te and the early-naughties CS juggernauts Pantheon. We also picked up a number of great new players.

Unfortunately, with many of our original players drifting into inactivity, others enthusiasm began to dwindle, and so did the morale of many remaining active members.

Last night (Tuesday 5th of February, 2008) at about 9pm the decision was made, and at just before midnight it was announced in the private forums.

I farewell all the players who wore the [hos] tag, in no particular order...

We had some great times amongst ourselves, but have formed some great relationships with other teams and players too. On the bright side, you're sure to see many of us around but with some different tags, as it seems quite a few of us have already recieved attractive offers from other promising teams.
