Half-Life Fallout

So as you can tell by the title our first of many holiday game nights was a success. "But IceOrb, we didn't play on a holiday." you might say to yourself. Well truth be told I moved it up so our friends that are still in school could come. "But IceOrb, why did you have to be gay and host it during american time zones when more then half of HLF is not american?" you might ask me. It we because I hadn't thought about hard enough so thanks to those of you who not only showed up for some games but also let me know about this issue. For that I will schedule the next one to work with your time zone instead.

So I hear a that quite a few of you were having problems finding games. Well despite what you may have been told I can't make any more clear that if you want updates on latest IP addresses and current games you must be in the steam community chat. I know our IRC is so awesome that not using it becomes painful but alt tabbing out to use the IRC is time consuming. It is just so much easier for us to use the chat function to give updates on what you need to do in order to start playing with all your HLF brethren.

So let it be known that all further events will take place on every major holiday. Holloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter etc etc... (I'd do 8 crazy game nights but something tells me I don't have the stamina :P) The next one will be Thanksgiving and I'll announce the time at a later date. So keep your eyes on this space for updates!
