Ladies and gentlemen (especially gentlemen, because I know that ratio is quite thrown) I have an announcement to make. Now that the Orange Box engine SDK is becoming stabler and stabler, and the summer months are on their way (my apologies to those in the southern hemisphere) it means that many of us are going to have some FREE TIME. Well, my friends, I would like to ask you to donate some of your time to help out the hlcoders community. With more and more people becoming interested in modding, we need to take the extra steps needed to help these folks out, and get the moving along the right path. To do this, I believe our first order of business will be to clean up (or entirely rewrite) the Developer Wiki. Yes, that's a tall order of business, but I believe it needs to be done. We need to have better documentation out there so that new modders don't feel lost when they download the Source SDK. Does that mean it's time to haphazardly start revising articles and moving things around on the wiki? NO! It means we need a plan.

If you're interested in helping with this major cleanup, and you have some time to spare, hop on the IRC channel and get my attention. I'll be forming a team, and we'll have a conference ASAP to see about finding the best way of making this happen.
