Due to the enormous popularity of the servers since launch, we've upped the player limits from 20 and 16 to 24 and 18 respectively.

While we appreciate that for most people "more is better," we have a firm belief that it's not always the case, especially on some of the maps available for offer in the TF2 beta, due mainly to their size. That said, while CP maps aren't entirely ruined by larger numbers, 24 players on 2Fort most certainly becomes a little silly, which is why we have decided not to increase it to the maximum number of slots possible.
