A Custom HUD for Team Fortress 2

FrankenHUD is a client-side modification for Team Fortress 2 that alters the HUD to be more stylish; cleaner, but without sacrificing the game's aesthetics and stuffing everything next to the crosshair. The name is due to it being originally based off of bits and pieces from other community-made HUDs... it’s since sort of evolved into it’s own beast.

It sort of started as my own personal modifications in my spare time, but I eventually shared them with the internet and found a decent amount of interest, so it seemed like a good idea to keep updating and maintaining it! I hope you like it!

Up until very recently, I was the only FrankenHUD developer, with the exception of the occasional fix or feature filched from somewhere else. However, with FlaminSarge recently contributing a lot, and with VPK archives making it a pain to swap out features you don't like, some sort of version control and easier access to the .res files is pretty clearly needed.

Soooo, I've thrown the files up on GitHub.

If you just want the loose files like previous FrankenHUD releases and have no interest in development, click the "ZIP" button on that page and install the frankenhud-master/hud_src folder just like you would the HUD folder in past releases.

I'll admit I'm kind of new to this whole version control thing, so this might be a bit bumpy. But hopefully this'll work better than The Previous Ways. Bear with me a little here...

pomegranate: There's a Release 54 Issues thread in which you can post a screenshot of the problem in question. I haven't encountered nor wasn't aware of any issues with the Spy Disguise Numbers, so there's no way it's going to be fixed if I don't know what's wrong.

I don't mean to be a nag but i would like an ETA for the menu fixes such as the spy disguse numbers being screwed up

I need help, I've tried so many times, probably downloaded this hud over 15 times. I copy and paste resource and scripts and put it in my tf folder, but when i start tf2, I get the default hud. Please add me if you know how to help!

Good luck making a VPK work. It's for a HUD so I know you can do it. I believe in you. :)
