At this point we will gather some questions that you have regarding our partnership with GamesPlanet, as well as the corresponding answers. This thread, however, is not intended for support requests from GamesPlanet.

Let us know what you think, and make sure to visit the GamesPlanet Steam group!

Note: The group's Ref-Link is only valid for a month or until your cookies get deleted (by browser addons or "clean up" software). Q: What role does for UNCUT! play in this partnership?
A: We will keep GamesPlanet apprised about censorship and Regionlocks we stumble upon, so that there are less misconceptions by the (mostly) German customers of this group.

Main purpose of the partnership is information exchange. Part of the revenue raised on Gamesplanet through this group, will be funnelled back to the group starting from 1-Dec-2016. This allows us to tackle new projects that we haven't had the funds for before. For the store system to realize, that you want to support us, you have to access the shop from our new Ref-Link[gp.foruncut.com]. So, from now on, you support for UNCUT! with every purchase you make at Gamesplanet! :)

Q: The game I'd like to purchase is not available in the GamesPlanet store.
A: We cannot guarantee that you'll find every game you're looking for on the GamesPlanet store. You can always try to find the game in the UK https://uk.gamesplanet.com?ref=foruncut or French https://fr.gamesplanet.com/?ref=foruncut storefront. Remember, however, that some of these games can not be activated with German IP-adresses.

If you don't find anything you are looking for there, it's safe to say, that GamesPlanet does not have the game in their store at the moment. In this case write a ticket on GamesPlanet detailling what game you'd like to see there.

Q: How do you receive the discount on GamesPlanet?
A: Easy Peasy.
  1. Create an account at GamesPlanet and log in.
  2. Link your Steam account with your GamesPlanet account by navigating to the Social Media Logins[gamesplanet.com] page after you have logged in.
  3. Visit http://foruncut.gamesplanet.com/ once.
You'll then receive the following message:
✔ Your forUNCUT discount (Steam group) of 3.0% has been applied
Done! From now on the 3% discount will be autmatically applied to your cart at GamesPlanet.

Q: Who do I talk to, if there is a problem with my discount or purchase?
A: Please always refer to GamesPlanet directly for support by using help@gamesplanet.com, but it won't hurt if you inform us, too, as we are in contact with GamesPlanet. If you have a question about the discount change on 1-Dec-2016, please ask directly in this thread.

Anyway - problems can only be solved by GamesPlanet. The Team of for UNCUT! will not be able to provide support concerning GamesPlanet and we will never pose as part of the GamesPlanet team!

Q: I have another discount code for GamesPlanet, and the for UNCUT!-discount is not displayed anymore.
A: This is how it's supposed to work, don't sweat it. Discount codes (vouchers of any sort) cannot be combined and if you have multiple vouchers for a product, only the highest discount of all will be applied at checkout. The other unused discounts will stay valid and can be used later (so long as they don't expire).

Q: Are you guys now going full monetization on the group and are going to spam us with ads?
A: Just like in the partnership with Nitrado[nitrado.foruncut.com] from the very beginning, we will not let the group decline into an ad provider.

We will merely point to our partners on the front page of the group and in the footer of announcements respectively. Everything stays subtle and unobstrusive. Should there be a special occasion like a big sale or giveaway on GamesPlanet we might just fire up an announcement as a heads up for you - just like with the Steam Sales.

There will be a collection thread in the forum where you can posts questions about sales and we can inform you about sales on GamesPlanet - like specially discounted items. If you want to keep up with these sales you just have to subscribe to that thread/forum. The Steam comment notification system will then inform you about news concerning GamesPlanet and possible sales. Find the deal-announcement thread here!

Q: Is the group discount only applicable for Steam games in GamesPlanet's store?
A: Nope. The discount can be used for all games on the GamesPlanet store. Be it Steam, Origin, UPlay, GOG or any other DRM-system behind the key, it just doesn't matter.

Hi. I was making a purchase from Gamesplanet, like I frequently do, and I noticed I don't have the 3% discount any more.
The social media section and checkout doesn't mention forUNCUT any more.

Is this discount over?

No, the group discount is still available. Just activate it again, as described in this topic, and you'll be good to go. If you can't get the discount to work, please contact GamesPlanet directly by sending them a mail. The adress you'll need is as follows: help@gamesplanet.com

Don't forget to shop through our affiliate link[gp.foruncut.com] (the images are currently bugged, sorry!) to give us a little kick back. :)

Thanks for your reply. I know what I did wrong: I changed my profile settings to friends only.
Everything is now ok. :)

Yup, profiles have to be public in order to check whether one is a member of our group and thus eligible to receive the discount.

hey is the discount still up? Joined group and linked account with steam + gamesplanet, but didnt get a message about discount.

Yes it is. Make sure to follow step #3 (as explained above) in order to activate the discount.
