Winter Media & Job Openings
Hey Gamers, today we have an extremely long and extremely overdue news post. We have been waiting on getting a new website up to introduce it, but unfortunately that has fallen through the cracks - in fact we're actually on the lookout for a new web developer as well as some new art talent to get 2.0 out the door and onto Steam. At the bottom of this update you will find a hiring section, giving you details on what positions we need filled along with the benefits and requirements of joining. However, before all of that we would like to show some fresh media from Firearms: Source 2.0, as well as bring attention to ModDB's Mod of the Year 2010 awards.
In today's media dump, we are showing off our new hand models alongside a few of our weapons with parts from the new attachment system implemented. For Firearms: Source 2.0, we will be releasing with two primary attachment types: the suppressor and the aimpoint. These attachments are far more than simple eye candy, and will allow you to customize and transform your weapons to fit the role of your choosing. After this initial release we plan to introduce new attachments and variations of existing types with each update, from bayonets to high capacity magazines to underslung grenade launchers. The attachments will be tied into the credit system, so the more you outfit your firearms, the less additional weaponry and armor you will be able carry.
