Do you guys realize that Valve games such as Garry's Mod, Day of Defeat:Source and Counter Strike:Source were meant to be PC games not Playstation 3 Games. Even though I do have a Playstation 3

Well it appears its going to happen. I'm excited just for the fact that Steamworks is coming to PS3. What it permit's doesn't matter to me. The fact that Valve is taking a huge step in the direction of Sony is what matters.

Oh, and think of the people, Valve, and don't make it a Sony issue please. Go back to the roots of doing whats right for the people!
You have to think from both sides. Like the Mac release, Steam (valve) is not charging anyone to make the swap. If you have HL, etc on the PC side, you have it on the mac side. One plus is all the $$$ Valve will make from all the people that have PS3's and no gaming computer. Lots of $$$...
And don't be dumb either, include FULL support for games (mods, kb & mouse, chat, etc.). It can't be that hard... And I will be one of the first on playing as I have to keep the good computer at my shop for work...

It's all too simple: Valve are basically selfish and lazy fanboys who just don't like Sony at all; they won't bother developing for the PS2, nor would they hire a fully-dedicated PS3 development team. It's a shame, really, compared to other companies like Infinity Ward, Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, etc.
