Tried to play it, even saw a 12/32 server on right now, but the game crashed as i tried to join

The server browser has been working recently, but does not appear to be working right now *shakes a fist at Valve*

I haven't been able to play the game since a few versions ago so I thought I'd ask whether or not the server browser is indeed working yet?
