Scouts, watch the top granary demo on gotfrag (http://www.gotfrag.com/tf2/demos/27058/). It's a scout POV. Ask yourself what the scout is trying to do at any given time and why. He's not just going for picks. There's a lot of contain and firefighting, and weakening people that others are fighting.
Nugget of strategy: When the first push on point 2 fails, notice who the first ones out the door are to assess counter-push viability. It's the scouts.
Nugget of tactics: When the two scouts are a fighting team, notice how they trade who's in front to equalize the damage taken. This also applies to soldiers.
