Join off one of the players in the mumble server.

We at 8U are proud to announce that after a long period of hosting little to no community events (the L4D2 night is an exception and a joint venture), we're back with the first of many: TrackMania 2: Stadium night!

The event will take place every Tuesday night from 8pm till late, starting today. The server will be hosted by Macgta or Raccoon, and the event is being organised by DarK.

The rounds will be standard Time Attack mode, up to 10 minutes per track (players can vote skip, there are unlimited restarts, and everyone plays for the best time. We'll be hosting at least 14 tracks tonight, the first 14 of which were created by DarK.

If you want, you can link us to some tracks you'd like to see in the game, and we'll try to include them. Post your links in the comments section below the announcement. We would like to see your suggestions, as many/all of the tracks made by DarK have no MediaTracker settings.

The first seven tracks will be mini tracks (so as to not alienate beginners), and the next 7 will be 1 minute fullspeed tracks, which should be made easier by the preceding mini tracks.

If you don't already have TM2:Stadium, it is free to download (get the demo version, this is actually the Open Beta) and you'll be able to join us. The full game will be released in August for a mere £8, so if you like the game and enjoy the event, it's well worth the investment. Full game owners have as much accessibility as Open Beta owners, so there's literally no difference right now. Get the game, jump in and start racing!
