Hi folks!

Tonight, most of our services went offline from around 00:30 BST. We are in the process of moving into a brand new data center facility along with our rack and transit provider KillerCreation.

The new facility, called Centro, is located north of London in Hamel Hampstead and is one of the UK's highest specification data centers.

This move will allow futher expansion in network capacity as well as ensuring capacity for future growth. Network capacity will be doubled with two new private wavelength fiber circuits, and due to a reduced distance between the two main routers - latency may also go down slightly.

Over the past years we have had a number of unfortunate outages due to everything from power failure and fiber breakages at the data center, to large DDoS attacks affecting us indirectly. The new high quality data center along with increased network capacity should hopefully reduce the likelyhood of these kind of events affecting us.

Our servers are expected back online between 12:00 and 20:00 Saturday. Hopefully we should be back up and running some time this afternoon.

All our IP addresses will remain the same, so apart from the downtime while the hardware is being moved, there should be no considerable changes to our game servers.
