CAL 6v6/8v8 start dates and where I plan to take us
I want to join up on the CAL 8v8, I don't really like 6v6 play too much, but if theres a demand from you guys we can go ahead with that too. CAL 8v8 starts on March 2nd, and that looks like a date that I won't be here. CAL is gonna be every Sunday it looks. I think we should start CAL 8v8 in season 2. For now we can rejoin TFL 8v8 and get some practice as a team there. Then when Season 2 of CAL 8v8 starts up we will join that.

Hey guys, as one of the new staff members, I get to be the lucky guy who releases the start date for our TF2 division. I know you all have been anxious for the release, and we apologize a thousand times over about the delay. More admins have been recruited, and we are still looking for a few quality people to round our team off.
Unfortunately our 1000$ dollar tournament has been postponed indefinitely due to issues with our sponsors, but we hope to host it in the future.
The first season of CAL TF2 will begin with 2 weeks of pre-season, starting March 2nd for the 8v8 league, and March 4th for the 6v6 league. The 6v6 will be played on Tuesday, and the 8v8 will be played on Sunday. We are working on updating our rule set, as well as the map list to ensure a smooth first season. You will be able to download the server files a week before pre-season starts.
Since there are so few stock maps that encourage competitive play (don’t worry we aren’t including Hydro) we have decided to let you decide the custom map played in the second week of preseason. We have a few in mind, but would like your input on this matter. I will shortly be making a thread for you to suggest maps.
I look forward to meeting you, and encourage anybody who has questions to PM me.
