To play /v/lancer:

-Start by getting the normal game, but only if you don't have the vanilla game. Use any sort of ISO mounter (daemontools works well) to mount and install the .img

-After you install the game, run the game ONCE to make sure it works.
-After that, get the mod:

-Extract the mod, and copy it over to your Freelancer folder. The /v/lancer DATA folder will replace the Freelancer DATA folder. Run it to make sure it works.

Then get HOTFIX 1: http://www.mediafire.com/download/gsqi1oaa6kgy5eq/flhotfix.rar

Delete or rename the flhook_plugins folder, and extract it.
