"It's shit" was shut down
http://store.steampowered.com/curator/6858585-Its-shit/
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/itskusoge
for those, who dont know - it was curator, who reviewed somehow terrible games.

Anyone have any info regarding that? Was it official, or yet another curator/group fell by gaben's censorship?

The group was deleted without any warning or contact made to any of the admins. After Crix launched a ticket he got this response:
The group was disabled by our staff based on an investigation of reports from other Steam users. I have confirmed that the content is not a good fit for the Steam community based on our Global Rules & Guidelines.
As with everything on Steam, we rely on feedback from our community to calibrate our decisions. I have forwarded this report to other members of Valve to be a part of our conversation as we continue to improve our service.
He wrote up a reply to try and negotiate but hasn't heard anything since. According to Crix the only rule that could potentially have been broken was the one forbidding "abusive language, including swearing".

I don't expect it to be restored, but I guess I can post updates in this thread.

thanks for fast reply, sounds like worst thing happend.

Dont expect anything positive from valve's support. Based on my personal experience, obviously - I've got permabanned from global steamforums (for posting answer with ascii art. Just once) with somehow rude moderator's note. But after trying to get some explainations (coz, well, not only permaban happend, but also I was insulted by moderator), all, I've got, was "everything happend according to discussion rules and guidelines" (which, actually, allow moderators to do whatever they want to, if you will read them carefully. Basically, almost everything can be classified against rules and banned, if they wish so). So, yeah, dont expect anything positive.

Yeah, Steam moderators and support are not a friendly bunch at all and they make serious mistakes.
Sorry if unrelated, but here's a story: in the end of 2017 i mass-reported spammers(because i subscribe to a lot of hubs), then i received community moderation message and noticed that i lost all my posts everywhere prior to 2018. Only through Steam support waiting for about a month i got the answer: they've deleted my posts because mistaken me with those spammers, they can't recover them or offer anything except an apology. And they did not even say anything like "we'll work towards this not being possible in the future".
So since then i'm kinda reluctant to use Report button T_T
Nooooooooo! I love that Steam curator. It's funny.:steamsad:
