The Cut Throats is a worldwide gaming community that operates as a unit to enjoy and compete in online games, based solely on the principles of respect. We differ from all other clans in that you wont find any official leaders, ranks, officers, or even rules here. We operate only through the understanding that once you are a Cut Throat, you have a standard of respect to keep up for the system, the community and each other. There are no rules whatsoever other than your understanding of the Cut Throat system that is be a good person and a contribution to the clan.

While this may seem to be a rather loose system for keeping our rather large group organized, time has proven that the Cut Throat way works. For over five years we have been the leading clan in Battlefield Pirates, and one of the oldest clans in BF1942 history.

Our team is was founded in the realm of Battlefield: Pirates, though as time has passed we have found ourselves enjoying other games as well. On most any night of the week Cut Throat members band together to slay people on a myriad of battlefields. This group is a dedicated, deep and constant source of online competition.

Our clan has enjoyed a long history of accomplishments, from events within the clan to game development projects. A number of mods have seen development from our talented members, most notably our very own release of Battlefield: Pirates v1.0, which is said to be the final version of the game we call home. Other projects such as Mist for HL2 saw a long run of development, landing promo spots in magazines such as PC Gamer. Our team remains focused and hard at work at our in-house development sect known as Cut Throats Interactive.

We have been a major contribution to the success of Battlefield Pirates since the very beginning, and we're fucking proud of it. At the end of the day though, all projects, mods and matches aside, we are the same group of fun loving pirate fanatics as always. No matter what the current game or setting is, we will carry our pirate-themed legacy on to whatever should come up.
