You can create an event in here. MSG me scope if you are a team captain and I will give you the privledges to do so.
The one thing that will make this channel grow will be to invite people to this community. Then you post an event saying you want a 5v5 or 3v3 and wait in the chat channel for the person to come in. All events should be posted at the time of creation, not half hour later...you should be waiting in chat for people to respond.
