CS Pro Mod
We Press on - Real News!
Recent events are saddening, but will not subtract from what this community can be! I am still a mapper, I can still make maps for CS Pro Mod as can anyone else, and I can still deliver you interesting news and views on the project. I assure you that I am still in good faith with many people on the development team. I do not expect information from them, all of which I could not post regardless, but it will give me a unique perspective on upcoming events for me to share!
So, as a thank you to all who have stood by me, I have taken names. Yes that's right; your good faith has earned you not only the ability to test my maps, but bare witness to a new surprise of mine! I'll briefly explain it to fuel all your minds with creative thought, leaving you with much anticipation I hope! I promise to fully explain the concept tomorrow.
I'm sure everyone here, and I mean everyone has had to wait for that 5th to enter the server. It takes ages, it isn't fun, there is nothing to do but TK and spam 1 2 3 4 [5]
Or is there?
What if a really interesting concept were to come out, making waiting not seem so much like waiting? What if you could fly through the air, from jump pad to jump pad, catching floating Unreal style weapon in the air to blast your opponent as you wiz by to the next pad? What if this was not just a different surf concept, but something you could really get into, really compete with? You could spend days mastering your air control to be the best! However, air control without high speed air aim isnt that great :P
I have put a lot of work into the project recently, and I will be happy to show it after the testers have been picked. I hope you enjoyed that seemingly vague description! Just imagine CS + Quake + Ricochet!
Lastly, to further improve upon this community I would like to point out that everyone here is our equal voice. It isnt just about my maps, what about yours? That is why I have opened #cspage where you can join a real CS Pro Mod community filled with contributing and excited people. CS Pro Mod will come out, and the day it does we can have a ton of our own creations to contribute towards it!
Feel free to contact me regarding your own map or idea. If you have a map you wish to have tested, Ill post and let people know! If you have an idea, Ill open it up for discussion among the large community we already have in just 2 days!
