*** How to join the Aurora Community? ***

To become a member of the Aurora clan you will have to do the following:

* Signup at www.aurclan.co.uk and create an application thread in the "Members Application" section.

* Add the [AuR] tag in front of your name and/or add the Aurora-clan tag in CS:S. (Options-Multiplayer-Advanced)

* Join this Steam group ( Aurora Clan )

Aurora is back in business with their new Surf server!
Having a brand new store plugin(hats, trails, laser, etc..) on the server makes it even more fun to play!

Surf Server Open!

The time has come for us to launch our new Surf Server, there has been some complications with server hosts and ping issues, but we are now happy with the services we have and are ready to push forward with the new server.

The new server brings with it a brand new !store plugin, through it you can spend your credits on Hats, Trails, unique team Player Models and other goodies such as bullet trace and automatic pistol fire. Credits are earnt a number of ways, primarily through kills; you recieve:
1 point for a standard kill
2 for a headshot kill
3 for a knife kill

You also receive credits by spending time on the server, with 1 credit per 1 minute (spectators don't receive this).

You can find the new surf server at:

With the leaving of gameservers.com, we have had to setup a new mumble server, which can be found here:
IP: mumble.rtl-servers.co.uk
PORT: 3056

There will be surf competitions and events hosted by Aurora within the coming months which will be announced in due course.
