ASSCHABS!

For those who suffer in silence from the numbing sensation of "chair butt".
We've all been there, don't deny it!

Those who have played Dragon Age: Origins are familiar with the term "ASSCHABS!"
(ASSociation of CHAir Butt Sufferers).




This is how the movement started:
"So, people who've played the game and have recruited Oghren will probably have noticed that sometimes, if you click on him in camp, he says "ASSCHABS!" and passes out. What's "ASSCHABS"? Well, I'll tell you.

A couple years back, I was sharing an office with Jay Turner, Jennifer Hepler and Mary Kirby. It was basically the writer pit. Lots of fun times were had. David Gaider, being all special and lead writery, had his own office, but he would often come into ours to chat and brainstorm. At least once or twice a week, he would come in groaning about having "chair butt", which is essentially when your butt goes numb from sitting in your chair for too long. We've all been there, don't deny it.

So we'd all talk about how we had chair butt, and eventually someone came up with the idea of having an Association of Chair Butt Sufferers. Do you see where I'm going? "ASSociation of CHAir Butt Sufferers"--ASSCHABS. And then someone wrote "ASSCHABS" on our whiteboard. This happened around the time Jay was writing Oghren, so he would come into the office and the word "ASSCHABS" would be staring at him. So since it sounds like something Oghren would say, he decided to make Oghren say it, to make sure ASSCHABS was never forgotten."
