Aureus Knights

Leading up to Warhammer Online's launch we had a tonne of fun playing TF2 and various other games together - even for those of us in BETA it was a nice change of pace every once and a while to slow down and dabble in other games and just have fun with each other. Now that the launch period of WAR is over and we are not playing the game so hardcore there is room in our lives to mix it up a little bit!

In the spirit of this we are pleased to announce a new chapter within the guild - AKS Casual. AKS Casual is dedicated to playing games such as First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategy games together - games that require less of a time commitment and are focused more on purely just having random fun! We will hopefully even include some console games in to the mix!

The structure of AKS casual will be super casual (har har). The officer team will of course be there to drive the guild and provide support and tools for everyone but all members are welcome and encouraged to suggest and even coordinate game ideas. We will do what we can to provide tools and guidelines to make this process easy for everyone and we encourage anyone who has ideas or input to share them with us!

Now for the fun part! Starting this week AKS Casual will adventure back in to familiar territory - Team Fortress Two!. TF2 will likely be our game of choice over the next few weeks while we get AKS Casual going but expect a lot more in the future!

We'll be getting AKS Casual forums up in the next day or so and providing plenty of new details in the weeks to come.
