A group for X-Com: Terror From The Deep fans.

I've been playing this game for years. I've owned the Strategy Guide, have links to many helpful sites, and know how to really beat this game. Last game on Steam ended in Dec of my first year with over 12 million, 4 bases, and I was only half assing it at first. Now I play various unique challenges to keep it interesting. Currently beating the above game on an even harder difficulty..faster. I also support using X-Com Util for multiplayer options. Let's Play videos...etc. Anyone interested in this game...I'd love a community.

Happy holidays, to those that celebrate any and all that are swirling around this time of year!

As most of you are surely aware, Steam has some great holiday deals going on right now, and I just wanted to make sure you were savvy to a couple!

Blood Bowl: Ledendary Edition and Plants vs Zombies are both majorly on sale right now! Being fans of turn-based strats as we all are...I thought this was the perfect group to mention both games! Especially Blood Bowl. PvZ gets a mention just because its a fun and light game that I think everyone can enjoy for some decompression. Blood Bowl is just a damn good tbs!

Hey All

Fanatical TFTD player :) ..... even after having bought a brand new quad core 8GB beast i still find myself coming back, it really is the most fantastic...and challenging strategy game, if anyone needs any help or indeed just wants to chat about any X-Com game feel free, just waiting for the new title to download via steam, it's got a LOT to live up to :).

Apoc had its own charm and personally I preferred playing it with RT than turns :] But it is just me ;P

Sometimes the last alien on a map will just stand there and do nothing, usually because at one point it dropped its weapon but now isnt freaking out anymore... Thats annoyed me a time or two before, at one point I downloaded a savegame editor to finish off that last straggler, I dont think its cheating because it was as good as dead anyway hah.

I hope it sticks to the original turn based battles rather than real time. I love EU and TFTD, Apocalypse I couldn't get my head around and the rest were cack. Please please please don't be another disappointment!

Just got this month's issue of gameinformer, it had a large article on the new xcom. It looks really good :3

Are you sure you checked every possible corner? From right adjacent to it? Every. Single. One? Its possible it looked revealed, but due to your troops positioning they didn't have enough line of sight on the location to actually spot an alien. Either way...that sucks!!
