I've got something else: If you have to go to the left 4 dead folders and play L4D 2 by pressing on the EXE there after putting the 510 thing, why cant you put -launchapp 510 or I think it's -applaunch 510 in the shortcut launch options. I think it works and the intro video is the only problem we have to deal with. We need replace the L4D2_intro.bik , maybe get a copy of it from a website? If it doesn't work then Please comment, I can't do it my self, i'm capped right now.
