It's pretty simple, really: We're a group of gamers who like to have fun, first and foremost. The only hard and fast rule of the group is DBAJ, or Don't Be A Jerk.

Looking for an island on the interwebs full of folks who don't stress over stats and skills? You've come to the right place. This group started as one person's Friends list and has grown to include friends of friends of friends who all share the same mindset - games are supposed to be fun!

In a surprisingly short amount of time the group became more than just a group, it is now a huge mutual Friends list. We don't care if you've been playing forever or if you've just started, come play to learn, or play to teach, or play to play - as long as you have the right attitude.

Poor group. Poor sad, lonely, stagnant group. I've been getting pestered to clean up the ranks for a while, now, and so I'm finally giving in.

If you'd like to remain part of the group, just say so. If you don't, you can either leave the group or say nothing and I'll do you a solid and remove you. No hard feelings, of course, and if you happen to be on an eight-week sabbatical learning how to make macrame hockey stick cozies or something and get removed by mistake, just let me know and I'll add you back in.

That being said - I'm going to be on my summer schedule very soon (hooray!) and I should have more time to play. I'd like to come up with more events and etc. in general, not just for me personally, so let's hear your ideas!

Minecraft!

Ok, so I'm very late to the game but Olin and I have recently gotten Minecraft and are really enjoying it. We're considering setting up a persistent server on Irene though it will likely be closed membership so you'll need to get the IP from us directly.

Anyone still out there? Let me know! :)

Tonight we tried out Cry of Fear multiplayer and it was...weird. I think I'd be game to try it again, though there's some pretty ridiculous scaling that requires having four people if only to increase your chances of one of you making it to the end of the level. Has anyone out there played the single-player campaign yet?

Hey guys - I'd like to set up one night a week to shoot zombies with the crew. My job has been incredibly busy and I get up ridiculously early, so it looks like I'll need to make a play date ahead of time in order to ever see you guys. How does Tuesday night or Friday night sound to you?

Go buy some lottery tickets, you might get lucky and never have to work. But slothfulness is also not good.
