Boycotting Valve's POSSIBLE FUTURE NEW TITLE

The Team Fortress 3 Boycott is a group of individuals who have pledged to boycott Valve's theoretical upcoming release of Team Fortress 3, whenever it happens. We have assembled a manifesto outlining the basic concensus of exactly two members of our community.

WE RECOGNIZE:

-Valve is a company powered by magic pixies. What would magic pixies need money for, pixie dust? That's a patently ridiculous scenario.

-Judgment cannot be passed on the quality of Team Fortress 3 until its release, or indeed until it's announced that they're making it. It'll suck though.

-Team Fortress 2 was, and is, a quality game which deserves the praise of the entire gaming community, once they fix facestabs and nerf the demoman and remove pyros, engineers and snipers entirely and basically replace the entire game with a single button I can press in order to win.

- The Sandman is overpowered

WE ARE COMMITTED:

-To keeping the Team Fortress 2 community together in order to improve the quality of online gaming, mostly by quarantining the majority of them in 24/7 2fort servers from which they cannot escape.

-To supporting the model of Valve giving us free things that still aren't good enough for us.

WE BELIEVE:

-The hours of entertainment we've had complaining about Team Fortress 2, and the almost-as-many hours of entertainment we've had playing it, are simply insufficient.

-Team Fortress 2 has not yet received the support and content which Valve has repeatedly stated will be delivered. Like, this one time, I saw an email from Robin Walker saying that they would eventually implement an update where gold actually comes out of your computer whenever you play. No, I don't know where I saw it. I remember it pretty clearly.

-The release of Team Fortress 3 will make Team Fortress 2 an obsolete purchase and inferior piece of software after only however many years since release. You cannot play and enjoy old games. It is simply impossible.

WE REQUEST:

-That Valve honor its commitment to release ongoing periodic content for Team Fortress 2, until we, the community, decide they are allowed to stop.

-That Team Fortress 3 not be released as a stand-alone, full-priced sequel but as either a free update to Team Fortress 2 or an expansion with full compatibility with basic Team Fortress 2 owners. Also, they're not allowed to make it hard, I don't like hard games

-That Team Fortress 2 owners be given discounts for Team Fortress 3, should it be released as premium content, or indeed at all.

- That should Team Fortress 2 owners not be given discounts for Team Fortress 3, that Valve should write us nice letters saying sorry.

- That should Valve not write us nice letters saying sorry, we'll be sad :(

Therefore, we - the members of this Team Fortress 3 Boycott - promise to abstain from the purchase of Team Fortress 3 until our requests are addressed, or until it's released, whichever comes first.
