Finnish Cannabis Association (abbreviation SKY) is an association whose main objective is to legalize the private use of cannabis, and the availability of education in Finland for each person 18 years of age. SKY's most visible activities are held annually in early May hamppumarssit. The association is an unincorporated, because the Supreme Administrative Court had in its 1994 decision, the promotion of cannabis use "morality".
Registration
Finnish Cannabis Association was founded in 1990 and it was set up following the vuonna.Marraskuussa 1992 Finnish Rural Party MPs Tina Mäkelä and Hannu Suhonen made a written question in parliament SKY's activities. MPs wanted to know while requesting the association "dubious practices" spirit of the law. In 1994, the Supreme Administrative Court rejected the SKY from registration, because "the association's purpose was to influence the substance abuse policy and legislation, so that drug use, availability, and upbringing should be lawful." Grounds for the decision of the cannabis-related harm and the alleged use of criminal liability because the Supreme Administrative Court had to attempt to promote the use of cannabis morality. Decision was adopted before the reform of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, which the Constitution left out of the condition that the association's purpose must not be contrary to law or morality.
In 1997, the Ministry of the Interior and the police require SKY's name in the elimination HTC's phone book.
Action
Annual association is domiciled in Helsinki, but its spread throughout the country. The association shall maintain a list of its members. It released the early 1990s, its own magazine on the hemp. The association has participated in the two books agree on cannabis (1998), and the Holy War on Drugs (2001) writing. The association consists of approximately two hundred paying members.
