Steam community group requesting the release of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4 on Steam.
At this point in time, the best way to acquire the older Silent Hill games on PC is to pirate them, as many PC gamers nowadays will get their games primarily or exclusively through digital means. Those older Silent Hill games aren't sold on any digital distribution channels at this point in time, despite the popularity they hold with gamers. Silent Hill: Homecoming released on Steam already, and even though the sales aren't exactly incredible it's still viewed as a great gesture among PC gamers. If the older Silent Hill games released on Steam, Konami could market and profit off of their Silent Hill games, and PC gamers would have legal access to them. Win/win, right?

Hi, Thanks. I wanted to ask anyone here because it's aparently not allowed in the forums for this type of questions but has anyone been having trouble buying games on Steam? I've been trying to get in on the deals and so far I tried steam browser, IE7, Firefox, I even downloaded safari, I know it's not my credit cards or my pc because I tried again today from work and even that computer the purchase failed. So far I have attempted to buy the hitman collections, esther, ghost recon series ect to no avail.
@spamcraft1 Silent Hill games on pc normally come out little after the console ones.
Damn, missed the Christmas sale to get Homecoming. It definitely sucks that nowadays the only people who can enjoy Silent Hill are those with consoles. 2-4 are all over $60, and i'd rather rake that money out to get more recent games. Steam picking these up would be fantastic. Too bad Konami is to f-ing lazy to port Downpour to PC.
