About Belarusian Translation
I'd like to ask you about translation Steam to Belarusian. According to this post on SPUF the members of this group — — are responsible for translation Steam into Belarusian. But the group is inactive, last activity a year ago. Well, what to do: create a new group for translation and start from the scratch or something?

I would suggest you to get in contact with the Administrators of the group first and see if you can revive it or take it over.

I took your advice. I sent a friend request to 2 administrators, and they declined me. Also one of them didn't respond to a comment on his profile. So, I don't think they want to keep translating. Inactivity more than a year is the strongest proof of this. And what should to do? Like I said earlier, create a new group for translation and start from the scratch? Or…?

It looks that this team - - maintains Steam group. You can ask them I guess. It seems that they translated a lot of text.

Of course you can start new group but it is better to revive old one. Also you can focus on CSGO or Dota 2. I think this is even more important than Steam client because you can make localization mod and anyone can try it. And I guess Valve won't add a language without some games that support it.
