Welcome fellow Spacers to the Fight.
The "Silent Snakes Assualt Coalition" is actually made up of three ranking groups, the SSAC's, the BALS and the NUT's. All together we are known as "The Confederacy".

There are actually 3 tags used by members of the Confederacy, [=SSAC=], [*BALS*], and [^NUT^].
[=SSAC=] stands for "Silent Snakes Assualt Coalition" (A Metal Gear Solid Reference).
[*BALS*] stands for "Ballistic Ambassadors of the Lylat System" (I can't let you do that Star Fox!)
[^NUT^] stands for "Newly Uniformed Trainee" (Sorry no nerdy reference here)

And of course all together they make one giant Dick Joke, lol...

SSACs are commanding officers of our Joint Space Confederacy, BALS are the Junior Officer that manage the mid sizes ships in the fleet and the NUTs are the 'Grunts' that act as cannon foder till they can prove themselves and advance.

Each NUT's member is assigned a standard ConFED shuttle fighter to personalize and upgrade as they see fit.

Each BALS member is assigned a standard ConFED shuttle fighter and a Mid-Sized Corvette class ship to both personalize and upgrade as they see fit.

Each SSAC is given a standard ConFED shuttle fighter, a Mid-Sized Corvette, and a Capital Ship. These can also be personalized and the Capital Ships can be used as a mobile base of operations by their subordinate BALS.

The Current Progress on the Standardized Fleet Ships is as follows:

Tokar Mark III - Shuttle/Fighter: 100% (Ask Parmeus for the A-Dupe)
Triumph R4 - Corvette: 20%
Maelstrom I - Capital: 0%
