I wonder if they were thinking of airing the series in an anachronical order again, and then changed their minds? Not that splitting up the eps would be a massive improvement, but it'd be nice to have something to look forward to in between the deja vu.
I don't know it's just something I saw and I though was interesting.
I mean why waste money on animating the same thing so many times unless you have to? KyoAni has better things to do wit their time rather than troll people. I mean they do each of the episodes from different camera angles and have the voice actors redo the lines every time.
