I'm disappointed that VIDE died off almost 2 years ago.
It almost became more efficient than pakrat, but didn't last long enough to work to do so.

I don't know if you're still updating VIDE at all, but is there any chance of getting /custom folder support for the pakking tools? At the moment, you have to scan each individual folder inside of /custom to grab everything.

Great tool by the way. VIDE is pretty much the only Source program I use anymore.

In the mass VMT editor could you add a function to add multiple lines?

Any chance you can update VIDE to support decals? Some maps have infodecals such as 'signs/arrows1' which is valid. However since it doesn't specify 'materials/' in front of it, it tries to find 'signs/arrows1' instead and wont grab the necessary files.

whle the packfile lump editor works for steampipe,I gotta change the username portion of scan path from 'username' to 'common' everytime (it never saves the path), fixing this would be cool. also I have theproblem Idolon has when adding folders, i fix it with pakrat which lets you edit it correctly. please keep updating this tool!
