A little buggy in places, but as great story and very enthralling gameplay. I liked it.:steamhappy:]

This game is a good run. Story line and quests were pretty good, with a certain amount of comedy. This is the first time I've written a review, but I felt that this game was worth the effort.

I don't own the Steam version of Venetica, but it's a fun action RPG with a likeable main character, a plot that avoids being grimdark despite the subject matter, occaisionally hilarious NPCs (Aeris from the Net of the Mask is notable), and few interesting twists and turns in the story.

The graphical style reminds me of European graphic novels, and the voice acting whilst occaisionally totally over the top feels appropriate.

on that 1-20 scale I would give it at least an 18.75. The game world is a bit small and the boss monsters play differently than the rest of the game mechanics.

One of my favorite RPGS ever. Yeah, it's more console-ish than I'm used to and perhaps a bit too cartoonish looking for many and the set piece boss monsters are almost (almost) as bad as those guys in Deus Ex HR. But the gameplay, the story, the music, the color palate, the RPG mechanics are are well done. It was a wondeful gaming experience.

10/20 if you are only into high polished AAA titles without edges
12/20 if gameplay matters to you as much as the tech stuff
15/20 if a nice story and good gameplay is the reason for you being a gamer and are into the genre

15/20 if you are a pure CRPG fan
16/20 if you like adventures, too
17/20 if you are into tricky boss battles as well

Venetica looks like a fantastic adventure... On a scale of 20, how much would you recommend me to buy this game ? :fire:
