Reddit AMA?
I had a brilliant idea... You guys should do an AMA on www.reddit.com/r/gaming

It'd probably hit the front page, and you'd shoot up to 1st place on the greenlight. :P

I don't think I could handle having to repeat the PIII problems over and over :) Maybe, if we think that it's needed to give a boost later down the line.

I put up a feeler on reddit....and zero responses so far.. lol http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/zd1sn/gauging_interest_on_an_amadevelopers_at_running/

1 response and counting...
SN4T14³ 5 Sep 2012 @ 4:50am
I think you should put it up early in the morning, your time, so both europeans and americans can see it. (When I'm posting this the time in Iceland is 11:50AM, and east EU is 4 hours behind me, I think, just a point of reference for you. :P)

Remember to post proof, too, I think it not catching on was partly because you provided no evidence you're not a troll.

And about the PIII problem thing, just put the cookie cutter response in the description, that'll avoid most problems.

Also crossposting on r/IAmA would get you some more coverage. :D

Do a 4chan AMA instead *cough target audience cough*
SN4T14³ 10 Sep 2012 @ 3:38pm
Or, you know, suggest that they do both? Reddit is as much of a "target audience" as 4chan, but the general 4chan stereotype is that of someone who would play Postal II 24/7.
DatYandereGirl 11 Sep 2012 @ 7:03pm
I'd do Reddit AND 4chan personally.

go on /v/

The problem is /r/gaming has tons of posts and they get buried in about an hour. Do a "is anyone interested in an AMA" post in /r/pcgaming . That front page lasts a couple days instead of an hour to two.
SN4T14³ 27 Sep 2012 @ 11:27am
That hour on the front page on r/gaming would still get more coverage than on a smaller subreddit for longer.
schenn 8 Oct 2012 @ 12:43pm
I disagree. /r/pcgaming is huge in subscribers as well but the posts generally last up to 1-2 days instead of less than 1 hour due to the focus the subreddit has.

In addition, /r/pcgaming focuses on pcgaming, which postal2 is meaning that the people who see it are more likely to care about the AMA vs people who are more into console games and thus couldn't give a crap about p2.
SN4T14³ 9 Oct 2012 @ 8:04am
Actually, r/gaming is very much the "PC MASTER RACE!" type of people.

Also, assuming the sidebar number with how many people view it were ALWAYS new views, 2 days on /r/pcgaming would be less than 15 minutes on /r/gaming.
