How to get uncensored (uncut) Left 4 Dead 2 (complicated method)
1. Preperation!

Download Your-Freedom and follow the instructions to set it up. You will need to make an account etc. Once installed it will start searching for servers, when it gets to this part GO AND DO SOMETHING ELSE because it takes flapping ages (at least it did for me).
Entropay

Make an account and hook up your card details and transfer money to it. This is a virtual credit card which will fool steams location check. You can use your own address because they dont send information out. I have been using these guys for a while so trust me, its safe.
Finally, BECOME SOMEONE ELSE!

Generate a random person, complete with adress and phone number. This is needed to check out valves store, but no info is sent out so its ok :)
2. GO TIME.
Im assuming a reasonable level of technical competence, so if you cant get your-freedom working then I cant help you.
Firstly, activate yourfreedom and MAKE SURE you are using a server that is in the country you wan to use the steam store of (obviously). Confirm this by googling an IP lookup service such as http://ip-lookup.net/ and verify that it correctly displays the country you are trying to proxy through.
Now – go to the steam store. If you are unsure if you are in the american steam store or not just check a few prices between it and the Australian store. You need to make a new account and may need a new email but this is hardly a challenge with gmail, hotmail etc.
Once you have your new steam account its time for the fun part – the purchase.
Travel through the steam store and find Left 4 Dead 2 (or any other game if you want some at a cheaper price ;) ). Note YOU CANNOT BUY THE 4 PACK as this requires one game to be retained by the account. Add a single copy of Left 4 Dead to your cart AS A GIFT (VERY IMPORTANT) and head to the checkout.
And heres where it all comes together. Fill in an email adress to send the gift to (one of your emails, obviously) and proceed. Now its time to use the virtual card you made with Entropay and the details from the random person generator to complete the checkout.
A FEW MOMENTS LATER – VOILA!!
Now just open your email and retrieve left for dead to your own account. To prove to yourself it worked right click on the Left 4 Dead 2 icon in the games list and go to "view store page". For me it just loads up the store homepage – as there is no matching product in the AU store as the cut and un-cut versions have different product numbers!
Congratulations, you just beat the OFLC at its own game.
